I couple years ago I went from being a total bookworm to not reading at all. I don’t know what happened but I couldn’t get myself to pick up a book. And this year I discovered the audio book (thank you Audible) and it’s re-ignited my love of reading - or more correctly being read to. Here are the books I’ve had the pleasure to listen to this year in order of best to worst (there were no awful ones.. more like best to the ones that were alright):
1. A Fine Balance by, Rohinton Mistry
2. A Stolen Life by, Jaycee Dugard
3. The Help by, Kathryn Stockett
4. The Woodcutter by, Reginald Hill
5. The sociopath next door by, Martha Stout
6. Anansi Boys by, Neil Gaiman
7. The Gunslinger (The Dark Tower I) by, Stephen King
8. The Drawing of the Three (The Dark Tower II) by, Stephen King
up next… Shantaram by, Gregory David Roberts
